What is MulaTap?
MulaTap is South Africa's integrated event ticketing and merchant payment platform. Event-goers can buy tickets and pay merchants, while vendors get a full POS and management system.
How do I buy tickets?
Download the MulaTap Client app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account, browse events, select your tickets, and pay securely using your MulaTap wallet or debit/credit card.
How do I become a merchant?
Download the MulaTap Merchant app and submit your application. Once approved, you can set up your team, inventory, and banking details to start selling at events.
What payment methods are accepted?
MulaTap supports wallet payments, debit/credit cards, and PayNow. Merchants receive payments into their MulaTap wallet and can cash out to their bank account.
How do I cash out my earnings?
From the Merchant app, navigate to Earnings and request a cash-out. Funds are transferred to your linked bank account within the standard processing period.
Is MulaTap safe and secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption, secure token-based authentication, and PIN verification for all transactions. Your financial data is protected at all times.
Can I manage my team on MulaTap?
Yes. The Merchant app includes full team management with role-based permissions. You can add employees, assign roles (Owner, Manager, Cashier, Waiter), and control what each team member can do.
Do I need internet access to use MulaTap?
An internet connection is required for real-time features. However, the Merchant app is designed with local-first architecture, allowing certain operations to work offline and sync when connected.
